England are in a spot of bother

Never judge a group by it's two power houses.  Group B is definitely not shaping up the way I thought it would. I knew there would be some twists and turns but after a couple matches I never predicted Scotland as group leaders and England would be hanging by a thread on one point.  The defending champions have it all to do in their two remaining fixtures and require a bit of fortune in other fixtures to secure qualification to the super 8.

In my opinion it was bit of bad luck that has England in this position their first match was called off due to inclement weather so they had to share the spoils, though one could argue the storyline of that match vs Scotland was not looking too favorable.  Then to go face off against an in form Australia team was not a good sequence of events.

The next two fixtures against Oman and Namibia are not going to be straight forward but it does not change the fact these are two must win games for England and they must win by huge margins to give them any chance of leap frogging Scotland provided the Scots slip up against Australia.

Nothing is impossible but England appear to have another slip up in them I can see them defeating Oman but Namibia may be where they have some difficulty especially given the fact Namibia are also in with a chance to qualify and I see no reason for them to not go hard against England.  The defending champions have the quality and fire power but do they have the will and fight to over turn two associate teams that stand in their way of super 8 glory?? Time will tell and we will know their fate very soon.
